I have toyed with the idea of starting a blog for a while now. Initially I was going to dive headlong into the endeavor and let fate run its course. But, after some thinking I decided it would be better to be patient, think about what purpose my musings would serve on the vast internet, a place where it is hard not to bump into someone’s opinion even with a relatively benign google search.

After some thoughtful preparation and a little encouragement I have begun the journey. My three topics of interest will be Current Events, History and Fiction. Obviously those cover a fairly large swath of subtopics so I have allowed myself some creative latitude but I will strive to keep this blog fairly cohesive for consistency’s sake.
