What’s Next?

I want to take a moment to lay the framework for what to expect from my blog over the next few months. It would seem to me that that constancy and consistency are the cornerstones of a good blog, so I will attempt to provide just that. Also, this advance notice will force me to meet my self-imposed deadlines and hopefully form in me the habit to sit down and write at least once a week without causing my form to suffer.

Without further adieu:

July 10th, 2015 – Introduction (Part II of IV “Friends, Feats, Fantasy & Folly”)

That one is pretty self-explanatory.

July 15th, 2015 – A Mystery in Blackthorn Parts I & II

Two years ago a swarthy friend of mine and I began exchanging a series of letters as different characters in a mystery story. With his permission, I have dusted off the pages and formatted it in four parts to be released two at a time. It amounts to an epistolary short story and we had such a good time with it that I thought I would share it. It will be found under the fiction section when it is published.

July 17th, 2015 – Introduction (Part III of IV “Hitting the Links”)

Again, that one speaks for itself.

July 22nd, 2015 – A Mystery in Blackthorn Parts III  & IV

July 24th, 2015 – Introduction (Part IV of IV “TBD”)

August 7th, 2015 – “Stars and Bars, Symbols and Society”

In this one I am going to touch on the tragedy in Charleston, SC and the ensuing outcry to have the confederate battle flag removed from the State House. I will seek to take a step back and explore the topic with respect and insight.

If you like what is in the pipeline, feel free to follow the blog so that the posts will come directly to your Facebook or inbox. Thanks!
